AT A GLANCE
Reading our service pages does not require administrator sign-in. The application’s authentication cookies support private inbox and authorized client-workspace access and last up to twelve hours.
A deliberately limited use of storage
This policy explains browser storage used by the website operated by Ayan LLC. A cookie is a small value a website asks your browser to retain and send back with relevant requests. Other mechanisms, including local storage, can keep information in the browser without being cookies.
The public website does not include advertising trackers, third-party analytics, social-media tracking pixels, or a visitor marketing profile. The current public application does not set a cookie simply because you read a page or submit an inquiry.
Cookie use is only one part of information handling. The privacy policy explains inquiry records, technical processing, service providers, and retention.
Essential authentication cookies
These cookies support access control. They are not used to follow visitors between unrelated websites or to deliver advertising. Removing or blocking them can prevent sign-in and access to the relevant private area.
Form state and motion preferences
The application keeps contact-form interaction, executive-brief drafts, and unsent inbox or workspace edits in page memory. Exported brief PDFs and deliberately downloaded project files are saved to your device, where you control them. It does not use local storage, session storage, or IndexedDB to save those drafts or administrator credentials. Appointment-request details and business-case calculator inputs likewise remain in page memory until submitted or deliberately downloaded. A reload can therefore discard an unsent draft. Your browser may independently remember form information if you enable its autofill features.
If you choose the paper or midnight edition, the website stores that preference locally under ayan-appearance. Optional reading-room settings and saved article position use ayan:reading:v1 for up to 90 days. These records contain display preferences, article paths and positions, not contact details or account credentials. They stay in your browser and are not sent to an analytics service. You can clear reading settings in the reading room and remove appearance preferences through your browser’s site-data controls.
Animations follow your device or browser’s reduced-motion preference. Reading that preference does not create a cookie or a stored visitor profile. There is no separate on-site motion-preference account or saved setting.
Browsers can also cache public files such as styles, scripts, images, and fonts. That caching helps load the site and is different from an advertising identifier. Fonts are served from the website rather than an external font service.
Hosting and security infrastructure
Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and may process technical information required for those functions. Infrastructure security features can behave differently from the application code described here. We do not intentionally add nonessential advertising or analytics storage through the website.
External links open services that operate under their own cookie and privacy policies. Visiting those services may result in browser storage controlled by their operators.
Browser controls and policy changes
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Browser controls and private-browsing behavior vary. Removing essential authentication data ends access through that browser session; it does not delete inquiry or project records already held by the service.
To request deletion of inquiry information, follow the privacy request process. To reduce animation, use your operating system or browser’s reduced-motion setting.
We may update this policy if the website’s storage practices change. The revision date appears above. For a question about a cookie or unexpected website behavior, email hello@withayan.com and identify the page and browser concerned without sending an authentication token.
